Complete Health Partners Celebrate One Year in Business Nashville, Tenn. — On October 18th, 2019, Complete Health Partners celebrated one year caring for their Nashville neighbors. The West Nashville medical clinic, which is locally-owned and operated by emergency room physicians, provides urgent care, primary care and sports medicine services.
Back-to-school season means new classrooms, new teachers and new friends, however when everyone returns indoors, we see a resurgence of germs and back-to-school illnesses. In this month’s blog, Dr. Hadley covers the most common contagious illnesses we see in our Nashville urgent care clinic when school goes back in session. Read on to learn their symptoms, how to prevent them and when to seek care from your pediatric provider or at a walk in clinic or urgent care for kids.
Summer is in full swing, and with that comes heat, humidity, and hopefully, lots of time outside. Nashville is full of great parks and hiking trails – from Percy Warner Park in Belle Meade to Bells Bend State Park near Ashland City and Radnor Lake State Park in South Nashville. Last month we discussed one common nuisance for outdoor explorers, ticks and tick-borne illnesses. This month we are tackling another common summer issue seen in our West Nashville walk in clinic: contact dermatitis from plants.
June is Men’s Health Month, and while most people can easily name some of the annual screenings required for women, the screenings men need often go forgotten. This month’s blog focuses on all of our male patients and the important annual screenings they should have with their primary care provider.
Tick-Borne Illness in Nashville: What You Need to Know A mild winter in Nashville brought ticks out earlier than usual this year. We saw our first tick-borne illness in our West Nashville urgent care clinic in early March which is unusually early – typically ticks don’t become active until after Easter. Because we live in a city with many heavily wooded areas and a high incidence of ticks, we see a fair amount of tick bites during the summer months.
Hooray for warm weather! We at Complete Health Partners are just as excited as you for the summer season to begin. And right in time for “swimsuit season” is a time to focus on women’s health. Did you know that May is Women’s Health Month? We often think of October for women’s health, however October’s focus is on the annual breast exam and mammogram. May is for ALL of women’s health – annual physicals, well-woman exams (including that Pap smear!), overall wellness, and taking care of those little problems that have been nagging you all year. Establishing care with a primary care provider is a perfect way to start managing your overall health – and a great way to celebrate Women’s Health Month.

In this post, we will review some of the most common reasons children visit our Nashville urgent care clinic. We will also provide some information which will hopefully result in a smoother urgent care experience for you and your child.
