Baseline Concussion Testing
Baseline concussion testing is included in every youth sports physical which creates a "baseline" of the patients normal cognitive function.
This take-home computerized test is taken before any injury occurs to test memory, reaction time and concentration. It serves as a tool in concussion diagnosis if a head injury occurs.
Post-Injury Concussion Testing
If a head injury occurs, our walk-in clinics will evaluate patients and perform a second concussion test to compare to baseline testing.
Your provider will determine if your cognitive function has differed from your baseline test and be able to diagnose concussion and recommended treatment plans.
Follow Up Care
In the event of a concussion, we offer follow up care with our board certified Sports Medicine Physician, Dr. Neblett.
David Neblett, MD will create treatment plans, discuss possible referrals and make return-to-play decisions. Dr. Neblett, partners with patients from injury through recovery to ensure you get back to doing what you love and receive the care you need.
