Complete Health Partners Celebrate One Year in Business

Nashville, Tenn. — On October 18th, 2019, Complete Health Partners celebrated one year caring for their Nashville neighbors. The West Nashville medical clinic, which is locally-owned and operated by emergency room physicians, provides urgent care, primary care and sports medicine services.

History

Initially opened as an urgent care clinic, Complete Health Partners expanded to offer more services after requests from patients.  In 2018 Ty Babcock, MD, former managing partner of a local urgent care chain, joined forces with emergency room physicians Ed Hadley, MD and Marc Mickiewicz, MD to develop a more comprehensive urgent care model.  “We found that the urgent care clinic on its own wasn’t entirely meeting the needs of our community.  People needed follow-up care after their acute injury or illness as well as regular preventative care, so the Complete Health model was developed,” Dr. Babcock said.  “We added primary care and non-operative orthopedics – also known as sports medicine – to create a healthcare model that can meet most everyday medical needs all in one convenient neighborhood location.”

Services

With onsite digital X-Ray, lab testing and procedure rooms, Complete Health Partners can treat many conditions typical walk-in clinics or physician offices cannot.  Along with general primary care and urgent care services, they can treat broken bones, provide stitches, do EKGs, and offer ultrasound-guided joint injections.  The clinic currently employs 4 urgent care physicians, one primary care physician, one sports medicine physician and one physician assistant. Two more physicians, including a new primary care physician, will join their team later this year.

Mission

“Our goal is to provide exceptional, personalized medicine, and we are leveraging all the technology available to make our patient experience one-of-a-kind in Nashville.” Dr. Babcock said.  The clinic offers online appointment scheduling, paperless registration and a patient portal for patients to access their records and lab results.

Hygiene Supply Drive

In honor of their first anniversary, Complete Health Partners is holding a hygiene supply drive to benefit local non-profit Shower the People which provides showers for those experiencing homelessness in Nashville.  Donations of deodorant, shaving cream, travel-size toiletries, underwear and towels will be accepted at the clinic until the end of October.
