About Dr. Nguyen
Vi Nguyen, MD is a board-certified Family Medicine physician dedicated to providing comprehensive, relationship-centered care to patients in West Nashville and surrounding communities. As a West Nashville native, Dr. Nguyen is passionate about serving the community where she grew up and helping individuals and families achieve lifelong health and wellness.
Dr. Nguyen earned her undergraduate degree in Biology from Lipscomb University before completing her medical degree at University of Tennessee Health Science Center. She went on to complete her Family Medicine residency at University of Tennessee Family Medicine Murfreesboro, where she received extensive training in caring for patients across all ages and stages of life.
Dr. Nguyen has a strong clinical interest in preventive care, women’s health, and the management of chronic medical conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, and thyroid disorders. She believes that proactive, personalized care is key to helping patients stay healthy and avoid more serious health concerns.
One of Dr. Nguyen’s favorite aspects of practicing medicine is empowering patients to take an active role in their health. She prioritizes listening, education, and collaboration to ensure patients feel confident and supported in their care decisions.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Nguyen enjoys traveling, staying active through fitness, exploring new restaurants around Nashville, and spending quality time with friends and family.
