Tommy Hooper, PA-C is a board-certified Physician Assistant providing comprehensive primary care to patients in Hendersonville and the surrounding community he proudly calls home. As a Hendersonville native, Tommy is deeply committed to serving local families and helping individuals achieve better health and quality of life through personalized, patient-centered care.

Tommy earned his Master of Medical Science from Trevecca Nazarene University, where he developed a strong clinical foundation in primary care medicine. He began his career working in urgent care and primary care settings, gaining valuable experience managing a wide range of acute illnesses and chronic health conditions.

He later spent nine years practicing inpatient neurology at TriStar Hendersonville Medical Center and Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where he cared for patients with complex neurological conditions and collaborated closely with multidisciplinary care teams. This experience, combined with his background in emergency medicine, allows Tommy to bring a comprehensive, well-rounded perspective to outpatient primary care.

Tommy’s motivation in medicine is rooted in giving back to the Hendersonville community and building trusted relationships with his patients. He focuses on preventive care, chronic disease management, and practical lifestyle guidance to support long-term wellness.

Outside of the clinic, Tommy enjoys playing pickleball, cooking, and tackling DIY home improvement projects.
