David Neblett, MD is a double board-certified Sports Medicine physician providing expert non-surgical orthopedic care to children and adults in West Nashville and Hendersonville. A native Nashvillian, Dr. Neblett is proud to care for patients in the same Middle Tennessee community he has always called home.

Dr. Neblett earned his undergraduate degree in Biology from Rhodes College before spending nine years teaching high school science. His passion for education and mentorship continues to shape the way he practices medicine today, placing a strong emphasis on patient understanding and informed decision-making.

He received his medical degree from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine and remained at Vanderbilt for both his residency and fellowship training. He is board certified in both Pediatrics and Sports Medicine, allowing him to care for patients across all stages of life — from young athletes to active adults.

Dr. Neblett is committed to maximizing conservative treatment options whenever possible. His approach focuses on patient education, injury prevention, long-term wellness, and helping individuals return safely to the activities they love.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Neblett enjoys spending time with his wife and their four children, attending sporting events, and being outdoors.
